SERVICESVisitor Visas
A UK Visitor Visa allows you to come to the UK for a short, temporary stay, such as tourism, visiting family or friends, or short business activities.
Visitor Visas are discretionary. Refusals most often arise where the Home Office is not satisfied that the applicant will leave the UK, or where evidence is weak, inconsistent or incomplete.
The Home Office will assess whether you:
Intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit
Can support yourself financially for the duration of your stay
Have a genuine and credible reason for travelling
Can demonstrate strong ties to your home country
Each application is assessed on its own facts. Where there has been a previous refusal, the refusal reasons must be clearly identified and properly addressed before applying again.
If visiting the UK matters to you, whether to see family, spend time with friends, or attend an important event - taking the time to prepare your application properly makes a difference and protects your immigration history.
Concerned about refusal or applying again after refusal? Or come from a Home Office defined “high risk” country?
